We are recruiting: HGV driver (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HGV driver in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing Your main tasks: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
