Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Gregg County, Texas. You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels On the job you will handle: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals Full-time with occasional weekends.
