Conventional mill operator wanted in Tuscola County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Tuscola County, Michigan. The job is in a CNC machining unit. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe 2+ years on the tools preferred.
