Immediate opening: cement mason (Nebraska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a cement mason in Merrick County, Nebraska. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE The role involves: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Full-time, day shift.
