Precision welder • Kingman County, Kansas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Kingman County, Kansas. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
