You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers The role involves: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
