Earthmoving equipment operator • Costilla County, Colorado

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Costilla County, Colorado. The role involves cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
