Garment machinist wanted in Gaines County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Gaines County, Texas. Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
