Stainless steel welder — Travis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Travis County, Texas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
