Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Rush County, Indiana. On the job you will handle: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE Full-time, day shift.
