Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Whitfield County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Whitfield County, Georgia. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Full-time with occasional weekends.
