Urgent requirement: panel welder (South Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Hamlin County, South Dakota. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Part-time with flexible hours.
