We are recruiting: lift mechanic (Alaska)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
