Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Montgomery County, New York. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg We offer $29 per hour plus benefits.
