Scaffolding supervisor — Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. What we are looking for: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms The role involves: • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
