Join our team: we are hiring a plastering hand in Santa Cruz County, California. On a typical shift you will apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge. Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Rotating shifts.
