GMAW welder — Spartanburg County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
