Safety officer — Habersham County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Habersham County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
