Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Cherokee County, Alabama. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence You will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly.
