Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Mobbar, Borno State. The job is on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
