Press shop operator wanted in Macon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Macon County, Alabama. You will work at an auto components factory. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
