Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Okeechobee County, Florida. You will be based at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Full-time, day shift.
