Immediate opening: stainless steel welder (Washington)

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Spokane County, Washington. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode.
