Day to day you will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists. Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Rotating shifts.
