Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, England. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery On the job you will handle: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter We offer £1,900 per month plus benefits.
