Automotive refinish painter wanted in Pecos County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Pecos County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch Requirements: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Overtime paid at a premium rate.
