Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre technician in Chippewa County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers The role involves fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
