Furnace operator • Kurfi, Katsina State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Kurfi, Katsina State. The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
