Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Ziebach County, South Dakota. You will work in a busy laundry. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day to day you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments.
