Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Mitchell County, Iowa. You should have: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to read and match factory paint codes Your main tasks: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper 4+ years on the tools preferred.
