Halal butcher — Saint James Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a halal butcher in Saint James Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a wholesale meat market. You will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours.
