Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling The role involves keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; season and marinate meat on request; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case.
