Punch press operator wanted in Plaquemines Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a punch press operator in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy press shop. On a typical shift you will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
