Urgent requirement: furnace operator (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Fentress County, Tennessee. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Your main tasks: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
