Concrete shuttering carpenter wanted in Douglas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Douglas County, Minnesota. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
