Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Midland County, Texas. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills Your main tasks: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
