Stainless steel welder wanted in Cedar County

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Cedar County, Iowa. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
