Great opportunity: spray painter (automotive) (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Cattaraugus County, New York. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. Your main tasks: • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Six days a week, one day off.
