What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run.
