Trowel-trade bricklayer — Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Madison County, Kentucky. The job is at a renovation and extension job. The role involves: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
