We are recruiting: we are hiring a RCC mason in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. The role involves load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
