Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Clear Creek County, Colorado. You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
