Great opportunity: refrigeration field service technician (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in DeWitt County, Texas. The job is in an HVAC service company. The role involves braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience.
