Earthmoving plant operator wanted in Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Montgomery County, Tennessee. The job is in an open-cast mine. On a typical shift you will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits.
