Great opportunity: we are hiring a lorry driver in Westmoreland County, Virginia. The job is at a container freight yard. On a typical shift you will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules. Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
