Immediate opening: argon arc welder (Nevada)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Lincoln County, Nevada. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
