Join our team: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Tompkins County, New York. The job is at a shipyard. You will erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground. You should have: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns 1+ years on the tools preferred.
