TIG welder — Ashland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Ashland County, Ohio. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
