Heavy equipment operator wanted in Loudon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Loudon County, Tennessee. You will be based in an open-cast mine. You will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
