Civil works labourer wanted in Alexander County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Alexander County, North Carolina. You will be based on a building construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up What we are looking for: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
